Abelia parvifolia (syn. A. schumannii) is a [[bush]] with arching shoots and [[ovate]] leaves{{AHS}}.  The [[leaf|leaves]] are bronze when new, turning a mid-green and are 1.25 in (3 cm) long{{AHS}}.  The slightly scented 1 in. (2.5 cm) [[flower]]s are shaped like a funnel, and are a lilac hued pink, with orange markings, coming from late summer to fall{{AHS}}.  The calyces have 2 lobes and are pinkish green{{AHS}}.  Calyces are produced either individually or in axillary cymes{{AHS}}.&lt;br /&gt;
