The Chalone [[Appellation]] is an [[American Viticultural Area]] located in the [[Gabilan Mountains]] east of [[Soledad, California]]. Wineries and vineyards in the area include [[Chalone Vineyard]], Brosseau Vineyards, Naylor Dry Hole Vineyard, Blue Mountain Vineyard, Michaud Vineyard, among others. Some of the wineries outside the area using Chalone Appellation grapes include Testarossa Vineyards, David Bruce Winery, and Loring Wine Company.&lt;br /&gt;
