Densely packed rosettes with narrow triangular leaves 3/4 inch (2cm) long, having toothes at their bases. Green flowers 3cm (1.25 inch) long come in the summer. Keeps spreading in width indefinitely.<br /> <br /> ==Cultivation==<br /> Outdoors: Grow under full sun in soil of moderate fertility and excellent drainage.<br /> <br /> Indoors: Grow under bright light in a bromeliad soil mix. Give moderate amount of water much of the year, but keep the plant nearly dry during winter. If temperature drops below 41F (5C), the plant becomes prone to root rot from sitting water.
