A vigorous, symmetrical, hardy herb, with glossy leathery foliage surmounted by long showy terminal racemes of good- sized fragrant fls.: lvs. alternate, odd-pinnate; lfts. ovate, serrulate, dotted with oil-glands: fls. white.
