margin, dark green with yellow midrib above, densely felted grayish <br />
white or pale brown beneath, 3-5 in. long: fls. many, in a compact <br />
head; calyx small, tomentose; corolla campanulate-funnelform, rosy red, <br />
3 in. across; lobes oval, longer than tube, with crisped darker <br />
rose-colored margin, upper lip spotted brownish; stamens 10, curved; <br />
