Dracaena deremensis, Engler. Plant 9-15 ft. high, branched: Ivs. 1½ ft. long, 2 in. wide, narrowed into a broad petiole-like base: infl. large; fls. on pedicels 1½-2 lines long; perianth 7-8 lines long, with tube 4 lines long, dark red without, white within, unpleasant scented.
