Forestiera pubescens, commonly known as Stretchberry, Desert Olive, Tanglewood, Devil's Elbow, Spring Goldenglow, Spring Herald, or Texas Forsythia.
It is a deciduous shrub or small tree that is native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico.
