 Iris longipetala, Herb. Lvs. 1-1 ½ ft. long, narrow, ensiform: st. stout, solid, compressed, 1 ½ ft- high: fls. bright lilac; outer segms. obovate, reflexing half way down; claw veined with violet on a white ground. Calif. B.M. 5298.
