Salix retusa, Linn. (S. serpyllifolia, Scop.). A depressed shrub: lvs. characteristically "parallel"-veined, obtuse or slightly retuse at the apex, entire, less than 1/2 in. wide. Alpine regions of Eu. and Asia.
